Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customers we are now looking for a Welding coordinator 26884.

Job Responsibilities:
•    Serve as the Responsible Welding Coordinator (RWC) for assigned projects.
•    Oversee welding activities throughout all project phases, including engineering, procurement, prefabrication, installation, and commissioning.
•    Ensure quality control for documents, work preparation for prefabrication and installation, procurement packages, subcontractors, inspectors, and operators.
•    Develop and maintain welding procedure specifications, procedures, and instructions.
•    Conduct verification and on-site follow-ups.
•    Coordinate with installation teams to ensure proper equipment, personnel, and reporting throughout the project.
•    Ensure the quality and proper storage of final welding documentation.

Your Experience and Qualifications:
•    MSc, BSc, Technical College degree, or equivalent relevant education and experience.
•    Must hold an International Welding Engineer (IWE) certification.
•    Candidates with an International Welding Technologist (IWT) certification may be considered.
•    Minimum of 4 years' experience in the Oil & Gas (O&G) industry.
•    Several years of experience in welding process piping, risers, structural steel, instruments, vessels, and mechanical packages.
•    Strong knowledge of NORSOK, DNV, ASME, and ISO welding standards.
•    Familiarity with welding inspection (holding a welding inspection diploma or certificate is preferred but not mandatory).
•    Good understanding of NDT methods.
•    Ability to work independently and be available to work in Norway.
•    Strong team player with good communication skills in both Norwegian and English.
