Job responsibilities:

•    Plan and execute technical safety deliverables in the study, including establishing and updating safety philosophies and strategies.
•    Evaluate and describe the impact on technical safety systems, equipment, area classification, fire protection, escape, and evacuation procedures.
•    Conduct risk assessments for different solutions, including associated qualitative/quantitative analysis.
•    Plan and prepare safety design reviews such as HAZID and HSE/Layout.
•    Review various aspects, such as access, noise impact, and the use of chemicals, as needed for safety evaluations.
•    Perform other tasks as assigned.

 
Your experience and qualifications:

•    Minimum 7 years of relevant experience within technical safety engineering, preferably in Norwegian Oil & Gas or related industries.
•    Detailed knowledge of relevant Norwegian regulations, including NORSOK S-001 and S-002. Familiarity with other applicable industry standards is essential.
•    Bachelor's or Master's degree in science or engineering.
•    Fluent in both written and spoken Norwegian and English for effective communication and collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
•    Proactive attitude with excellent communication and cooperation skills, enabling effective interaction within the team and with external partners.

To be accepted as a candidate you must be located within EU – preferable in Norway. Important with valid work permit for Norway if not located in Norway.
