Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customers we are now looking for a Supply Chain Manager 28415.

 

The Supply Chain Manager is a part of the Operations Department which has the responsibility of executing on all contracts made with the company. There will be a wide area of working tasks, ranging from input to tender, procurement planning, procurement, inbound & outbound logistics organizing assembly and production line, supporting projects with all supply chain related tasks

 
The purpose of this position is to ensure our procurement, logistics and warehouse function receive required raw material to comply with delivery to Client.
This position involves no travel.

 

Job responsibilities:
 •    Maintain overall responsibility for the Supply Chain; procurement planning, projects ordering, goods receipt, and return (when applicable) of parts.
•    Overall responsible for preparing, packing and delivery of Sales Orders
•    Responsible for operational training of personnel within supply chain and warehouse
•    Ensure supplier contracts and POs are properly issued and filed
•    Implement supplier performance tools
•    Conduct supplier evaluations and supplier risk assessment
•    Responsible to retrieve best possible prices and quality
•    Maintain overall responsibility for arranging inbound and outbound transportation of products to and from our company, using preferred carriers
•    Ensure customs clearance is handled in accordance with applicable regulations
•    Organizing and administration of production/assembly of products.
•    Responsible for warehouse, inventory, and tools.
•    Responsible for deviation reporting within supply chain and warehouse
•    Responsible for operational procedures in the warehouse
•    Actively search for threats and opportunities in the logistic part of the organization.
•    Be a driver for logistic, production and test related improvements.
•    This position does not have any HR responsibilities.

Reporting to Chief Operating Officer.

 

Tasks:
•    Work with project managers (PM) and sales to define procurement prognoses
•    Determine long term and short-term needs, perform procurement planning, and ensure availability of strategic and long-lead items.
•    Input to Sales on tender work; Incoterms, lead time, cost, and supply chain resources
•    Coordinate with PMs on the procurement of parts in projects.
•    Work with Project teams on Bill of Materials
•    Arrange all project specific procurement and production/assembly line
•    Arrange Goods Delivery to Client in accordance with Contract/PO
•    Assist Finance with necessary information to create and sending out invoices.
•    Register sales orders in our systems, and issuing Order Confirmations
•    Organize transport, receipt, incoming inspection, and storage of goods,
•    Ensure efficient communication and pricing with preferred freight forwarders.
•    Organize assembly and test of our products.
•    Organize incoming inspections of parts and products.
•    Follow up deviations
•    Execute inventory control at regular intervals.
•    Keeping the warehouse tidy.
•    Make sure all tools and equipment are well stored, updated, and always certified.
•    Ensure RMA units for and after repair are properly customs cleared and stored.
•    Actively work to improve existing processes, quality, and efficiency
•    Other tasks on demand.

 

Your experience and qualifications:
•    Minimum 5 years’ experience from operational Logistics and Procurement
•    Economy & Supply Chain Management is an advantage
•    Relevant experience can compensate for formal education
•    Determined and innovative
•    Solid organizational and interpersonal skills
•    Well structured, energetic, and forward looking
•    Attention to critical detail and multitasking skills
•    Written, verbal and presentation in English and Norwegian

 

Job Specifications:
