Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customers we are now looking for a Structural engineer – Senior Engineer 2D/3D 26007.

Job responsibilities:
–  Concept and layout development of structures (including 3D model start-up procedures).
–  3D modelling, design development & multidiscipline interaction.
–  Preparation of 2D structural drawings / extraction of 2D structural drawings from 3D model.

Your experience and qualifications:
–  Relevant technical education, BSc is preferred
–  Minimum 2 years experience.
–  Ability to work independently in all phases of the project; through study to execution phases
–  Experience from modification projects in the offshore industry, preferably from the North Sea
–  Good knowledge of E3D
–  General computer technology and experience from structural design is mandatory
–  Good knowledge with making fabrication drawings including cutting sketches and nesting files
–  Knowledge of governing regulations and standards
–  Software Skills: AVEVA E3D, Time, MIPS, Navisworks
–  Fluent in both Norwegian and English, both written and oral.
