Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customers we are now looking for a Structural engineer – Discipline Lead 26122.

Job responsibilities:
–  Lead and oversee all structural engineering activities for the assigned project.
–  Prepare man-hour estimates, schedules, and manpower resource requirements to meet project objectives.
–  Ensure job progress aligns with the schedule and meets required quality standards.
–  Establish need dates for the assignment of personnel on the job.
–  Supervise, assign, and schedule work for the entire structural team on the project.
–  Maintain communication with clients and other discipline lead engineers to ensure accurate and timely information flow.
–  Perform other tasks as required.

Your experience and qualifications:
–  Master's or bachelor's degree in Engineering.
–  Fluent in both Norwegian and English, written and spoken.
–  Minimum 5 years' experience as a discipline engineer.
–  Knowledge of relevant design rules and standards.
–  Proficient in software programs: Sesam-Genie, STAAPro, Naviswork, Mathcad, E3D.
–  Expertise in Structural Analysis.
–  Detailed understanding of PEM, discipline engineering methods & tools, and relevant execution phases.
–  Familiarity with requirements for interfacing with other disciplines and parties.
–  Knowledge of EMM best practices in the area of responsibility.
–  Understanding of EMM planning and quality principles.
–  Adequate knowledge of contract, budgeting, change, and risk management.
–  Strong management capabilities with proactive communication and coordination skills.
