Job title: Site Manager 27747
Role purpose: Own the overall performance of the factory—safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people—by leading production, logistics, maintenance, quality systems, and HR processes to meet business targets.

Key responsibilities
Leadership & HR
•    Full people leadership for the site: workforce planning, recruitment (with HR), onboarding, competence development, appraisals, and succession planning.
•    Build an engaged, high-performing culture based on respect, clear goals, and continuous feedback.
•    Ensure compliance with labour law, local agreements, and company policies.
Operations & Maintenance
•    Lead day-to-day factory operations across the entire value stream with focus on Safety/Quality/Delivery/Cost.
•    Set and follow up KPIs; drive continuous improvement (Lean/5S/standard work) and loss elimination.
•    Plan short- and long-term capacity, preventive maintenance, and site investments (CAPEX).
Quality & QHSE Compliance
•    Site ownership of the quality management system and QHSE (KHMS) requirements, incl. risk assessments, safety rounds, and environmental compliance.
•    Ensure registration, root-cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions for deviations and non-conformities.
•    Keep professionally up to date on relevant regulations/standards and ensure adherence (e.g., ISO 9001/14001/45001; applicable product/industry standards).
Supply Chain & Logistics
•    End-to-end responsibility for planning, materials, warehousing, internal logistics, and outbound deliveries to meet customer commitments.
•    Partner with Procurement on supplier selection, contracts, cost optimization, and supply risk management.
Finance & Governance
•    Budget responsibility for the site within delegated authority; manage OPEX/CAPEX, budgeting, forecasting, and cost drivers.
•    Implement action plans to achieve financial and operational targets; provide timely reporting on performance and risks.

Cross-functional & Customers
•    Active member of company’s management team; contribute to strategy, customer focus, industrialization, and digitalization.
•    Be a driving force for standardization and process improvement across functions.
Authority
•    According to the company’s responsibility and authority matrix, including decision rights for operations, people, and budget within agreed limits.
Qualifications
•    Technical background in electrical/automation/mechanical engineering or equivalent experience in industrial manufacturing.
•    8–10 years of relevant experience, including several years in a senior leadership role with site/factory or production responsibility.
•    Proven experience with budget ownership and CAPEX management.
•    Solid knowledge of quality systems and QHSE; experience with relevant standards and compliance.
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving ability; data-driven, accurate, and structured.
•    Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
•    Strong IT proficiency; experience with ERP/MES and productivity tools.
•    Excellent oral and written skills in Norwegian and English.
