Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customers we are now looking for a Site Electrical Construction Engineer

Job responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing the site engineering aspects of the electrical scope of work, supporting the installation contractors, site supervision, and interfacing between the home office engineering team and site
• Provide, or arrange with home office engineering, for resolution of site technical queries, and other construction matters which require engineering interpretation
• Review the contractor’s submissions for technical suitability, including proposed materials and any substitutions
• In conjunction with relevant supervision provide technical input to Method Statements, Job Hazard Analysis and Technical Procedures submitted by construction contractors and respond with comments
• Assist the Material Controller to inspect all specialist vendor packages and equipment upon delivery to site and prepare reports for back-charges and insurance claims due to damages and shortages
• Undertake internal commissioning system walk downs to verify completion, and in readiness for a joint system walk down
• Organise and undertake Mechanical Completion joint system walk downs with Client and construction contractors to verify system completion status.  On completion of walk down compile status summary on outstanding work and punch items and forward to Turnover group
• Ensure efficient clearance of punch items, which require or have an engineering, vendor, or material supply input

Your qualifications:

• Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering
• Experience with site resolution of electrical engineering queries and issues
• Familiarity with European electrical standards and specifications
• Extensive experience of working in Live Plant, Greenfield work for Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, Power Plant, or other similar type of plants

To be accepted as a candidate you must be located within EU – preferable in Sweden with valid work permit
