Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customers we are now looking for a Senior Telecom Engineer

Job responsibilities:

•    Participate in various contracts; EPCI modification and/or maintenance
•    Participate in contracts as discipline responsible (if required).
•    Ensure development of functional design solutions, both within own discipline and interface with other disciplines.
•    Execute and co-ordinate technical procurement activities, including bulk MTO.
•    Documentation: Engineering, termination and loop design.
•    System registration for tagged items. Tag register. Update register with new tag and documentation.
•    Field surveys; Onshore or/and offshore.
•    Tasks/responsibility as PRE (Package Responsible Engineer), Group Lead or Discipline Lead – depending on your qualifications.
•    Control system design; ESDS, PSO, PCS
•    Specify and prepare new/update existing layout
•    Termination and loop design
•    Specify and prepare data sheets, documentation and vendor follow-up of instrument/automation packages
•    Prepare job card
•    Prepare MTO for bulk and tagged items

Your experience and qualifications:

•    Msc, Bsc, Technical College or other relevant education and experience and Associate Degree Vocational school 
•    Minimum 5 year experience as Telecom engineer with tasks as lead or PRE including installation experience.
•    Important with relevant experience and broad knowledge of deliverables within Telecommunications for the Norwegian Continental Shelf, and technical requirements in addition to NORSOK standards.
•    You have skills in Network design, including fiber optic and network cabling.
•    Good communicative skills in English and preferable Norwegian

Other:
Available for work in Norway – preferable with a valid work permit (candidates that have been working in Norway earlier might be considered).
Willing to relocate to Stavanger.
