Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customers we are now looking for a Senior Technical Safety Engineer – Firewater and PRE (AFP and misc)

Job responsibilities:

• Work as a System Responsible Engineer (SRE) for the firewater engineer and Package Responsible Engineer (PRE) for AFP and misc. with the following tasks:
• System Design of the Active Fire Protection system
• Responsible for secure design consistency, functionality of the Active Fire Protection System
• Hydraulic calculations in Pipenet
• System description report etc.
• UFDs/P&IDs
• Participate in HAZOP
• Technical responsible for the Safety procurement packages
• Prepare and issue technical requisition and datasheet for IDC, Inquiry and PO
• Perform technical evaluation of the received bids
• Prepare and perform bid clarification meeting (BCM) and kick off meeting
• Responsible for ensuring that the work is performed according to relevant instructions / procedures and in accordance with the contract
• Responsible to follow project schedules

Your qualifications:

• Bachelor education
• Min. 5 years working experience with the work tasks listed above in Greenfield offshore
• Detail projects or larger modification projects
• Working experience from Norwegian Sector
• Detail knowledge of NORSOK safety requirements (S-001)
• Detail knowledge of Equinor requirements (TR1055) is preferrable
• Ability to work independently and thorough as well as ability to work in team
• Multidiscipline understanding
• Good communication skills
• Have a high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements
• Be proactive, seeking advice and share own experiences with others
• Communicate well in English – both oral and in writing

To be accepted as a candidate you must be located within EU – preferable in Norway with valid work permit
