Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customers we are now looking for a Senior/specialist structural analysis engineer

Job responsibilities:

•    Structural analysis, calculations, and design of topside structures.
•    Overall competence in structural analysis and design of floating and fixed installations, able to handle a variety of tasks.
•    Documentation of work and cooperate with design team for 3D-modelling and engineer-input to drawings.

 
Your experience and qualifications:

•    5+ years engineering experience from offshore project.
•    Bachelor or Master’s degree in Engineering.
•    Offshore Certified with FSEL and EX course.
•    Experienced user in SESAM-suite of structural analysis system
•    Knowledgeable in local design and hand-calculations
•    Well-versed in the use of industry-standard requirements and design-codes (Norsok, DNVGL and Eurocodes)
•    Efficient and problem-solving
•    Good communication skills in Norwegian and English, both verbally and written language.
•    Skilled in Microsoft Office.
•    Team-oriented, but able to work independently.
•    Quality-driven, with focus on a structured method of work

To be accepted as a candidate you must be located within EU – preferable in Norway. Important with valid work permit for Norway if not located in Norway.
