About the role

As a Senior SAS Engineer, you will participate in an EPCI project with responsibility for SAS system design, integration and follow-up of deliveries. The role is suitable for those who thrive on both independent tasks and interdisciplinary collaboration, and who have a keen eye for quality in technical documentation.

Your main responsibilities:

• Participate as a SAS engineer in EPCI projects and contribute to relevant project and professional meetings.
• Responsible for SAS system design and integration, including interfaces, FS, SCD and HMI inputs for process, utility and electrical systems.
• Prepare and follow up technical deliverables such as F&G, C&E, SCDs, ESD/PSD block logic, work packages, engineering documents and data registers.
• Follow up system design for equipment packages and electrical automation systems.
• Participate in fire and gas-related safety reviews.
• Follow up suppliers, technical supplier documentation and test activities/FAT.
• Identify and communicate necessary supplier and engineering information to the project, other disciplines, suppliers and customer.
• Verify SAS documentation, including SCD, alarm classification, software report and HMI documents.
• Coordinate work internally in the group, in the discipline and in the project.

We are looking for you who have:

• MSc, BSc, technical vocational school or other relevant education – or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience as a SAS engineer.
• Experience with control, review and verification of SAS documentation and discipline deliveries.
• A good understanding of quality assurance of SAS documentation and the ability to work accurately and structured.
• Good collaboration skills and the ability to work independently in interdisciplinary project environments.
• Good communication skills in Norwegian and English.
• Experience from COPNO-related projects is an advantage.
