Join Our Team: Senior Project Engineer wanted!

We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer for an exciting long-term opportunity in Stavanger. Techconsult, the bridge connecting talent with top-tier opportunities, is searching for experienced professionals to join a dynamic project with one of our leading clients.

Your Key Responsibilities:
•    Designing of 800xA system in larger and smaller projects
•    Configuration and installation of ABB 800xA system
•    Planning and execution of engineering activities 
•    Testing and installation of 800xA system and installation offshore 
•    Following industry-standard processes and procedures
•    The position involves assignments together with Norwegian and international customers and vendors. Some travelling must be expected.

Your Qualifications:
•    Master’s or bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant areas
•    Eager to learn and develop yourself and your colleagues
•    Commercial awareness
•    Familiar with NORSOK standards.
•    Familiarity with other hardware solutions for control systems like is relevant (Siemens, Emerson etc), but experience with 800xA system and/or ABB Advant, Safeguard, is important.
•    Good knowledge of current standards within oil & gas (UK, Norway, or Denmark). You might also have a background from process industry or similar.
•    Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
•    Willingness to travel for assignments with Norwegian and international clients.
•    English fluent, oral, and written, Norwegian is an advantage
