Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customers we are now looking for a Senior Pipe Support Designer

Job responsibilities:

• Offer pipe support design services for the Aker BP Modification Alliance Project.
• Utilize pipe support design expertise to incorporate general E3D modeling and drafting for all support systems in accordance with NORSOK standards and project specifications.
• Ensure alignment of designs and effective communication with layout and stress departments, as well as other disciplines as necessary for assigned tasks.
• Generate designs, drawings, and other documents as per project requirements and conduct checks to ensure the accuracy and quality of technical designs and deliverables.

Your experience and qualifications:

• Possess an MSc, BSc, Technical College degree, or equivalent relevant education and experience.
• Proficient in the design of pipe supports in 3D models (PDMS/E3D) according to NORSOK standards.
• Have experience in the Oil & Gas industry, particularly with North Sea projects.
• Knowledgeable about critical hydrocarbon systems in oil/gas environments.
• Understand piping stress calculations and piping support design.
• Collaborative experience with other disciplines such as process, structure, mechanical, instrumentation, safety, and materials.
• Hold a valid offshore certificate.
• Available to work in Norway.
• Possess strong communication skills in both Norwegian and English and excel as a team player.
