Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customers we are now looking for a Senior LCI Professional – Senior Instrument Engineer – loop      27871.

Job responsibilities:
•    Instrument loop design for projects and assets in operation.
•    Identification and correction of missing information in the database.
•    Establish and quality-assure F&G loops in SPI (SmartPlant Instrumentation) for an upgrade project in Operation.
•    Perform full-scale import of equipment, cables, and connections in SPI, including data extraction, quality checks, import, and verification.
•    Collaborate with Contractors and internal resources for input and QA in SPI.
•    Development and improvement of work processes related to instrumentation.
•    Provide technical support and quality assurance within the operations organization.

Your experience and qualifications:
•    Experience with SPI as super-user and administrator, including import tools and project module.
•    Experience from the oil and gas/process industry, particularly with SPI deliveries in both projects and operations.
•    Experience with loop design, cable structure, and IO cards in SPI.
•    Experience with technical information management and system integration.
•    Experience with cost optimization and efficiency improvements in SPI deliveries.
•    Competence in instrumentation and technical documentation.
•    Ability to operate CAD tools and update technical drawings.
•    Knowledge of LCI processes and systems, including relationships between equipment and documentation.
•    Structured and quality-conscious work style.
•    Strong collaboration skills and ability to work independently.
•    English and Norwegian full professional proficiency
