Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customer we are now looking for a Senior Instrument Engineer 24152.

Job responsibilities:
–  Modification and maintenance work projects (studies and execution) 
–  Instrument detail design development 
–  Instrument package responsible engineer (PRE) 
–  Interface with other engineering disciplines and close co-operation with Instrument Discipline Task Responsible 
–  Perform Offshore surveys to identify installation method, placement of instruments, Cable tray and Cable routing. 
–  Identify and coordinate material need. 
–  Document updates, tag registration, as-built. 
–  Establish and develop Jobcard plan in accordance to best practise and installation method. 
–  Jobcard fabrication.

Skills :
–  Branch experienced / Adequate knowledge and experience from field work Offshore, able to evaluate and decide best possible installation methods and placement of Instrument equipment. 
–  Experience and knowledge of relevant design rules, regulations and standards 
–  Competence to instruct colleagues (juniors) 
–  Familiar with MTO (Material take off), experienced with MIPS and Jobcard fabrication 
–  Ability to execute, take responsibility and make decisions. Communicate and be proactive 
–  FSE Certificate 
–  EX course (including Exi engineering) 
–  Basic safety course incl. HUET.

Education:
–  Masters or Bachelors degree within automation 
–  Competence to instruct colleagues (juniors) 
–  Skilled worker within field instrumentation, competency can compensate for lack of degree 
–  Knowledge of Norwegian electrical laws and NORSOK 
–  Good Norwegian and English, oral and written 
–  Good collaborative skills, outgoing and team player, with ability to motivate and encourage good attitude.

Other Information:
The position includes participation in the Draugen Power from Shore project where the management; Project Director, Engineering Manager and overall SCIT Discipline Lead, is located in Trondheim. If located outside Trondheim office, some travel activities must be expected. Position includes possible part product coordination.

To be accepted as a candidate you must be located within EU and have a valid work permit/visa for Norway.
