Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customers we are now looking for a Senior HVAC System Engineer. Required Location: Asker

You will work as an HVAC System Engineer in Snøhvit detail engineering phase.

The project is modification of an existing onshore LNG plant: 

Job responsibilities:

•    Maintaining the plateau production by installing a new Feed Gas Compressor Module.
•    Reduce emission by introducing power from shore and installing one Electrode Steam Boiler module to the existing Snøhvit LNG plant.
•    Installation of an emergency power generator station, which for HVAC means ventilation, cooling, heat recuperation and sanitary systems for 3 new buildings and some work in 4 existing buildings.

You will have the opportunity to work with:

•    Functional requirements, control philosophy, operation philosophy
Ventilation systems
•    Chilled water and water based heat recovery system
Additional new toilet buildings
•    Pressure drop calculations in Magicad for Revit
•    Align the design with TEK17 where required
•    Coordination with HVAC procurement package responsible engineers and HVAC area engineers
•    Coordination with other disciplines in the projects
 

Your experience and qualifications:

•    Master or Bachelor degree
•    Min. 5 years working experience in HVAC System design, in engineering
•    Working experience from detail engineering phase is preferred
•    Ability to work independently and thoroughly as well as ability to work in team.
•    Multidiscipline understanding
•    Good communication skills
•    Have a high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements.
•    Be proactive, seeking advice and share own experiences with others
•    Communicate well in English – both oral and in writing

To be accepted as a candidate you must be located within EU – preferable in Norway. Important with valid work permit for Norway if not located in Norway.
