We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to work for a feed phase greenfield and modification offshore project. Scope includes electrification scope. The right candidates will join a major project and will have the opportunity to develop his/her skills within electrical system design and calculation in a large international project-working environment:

Job responsibilities:

•    System Design and follow up of high and low voltage systems
•    Technical input and review for power system philosophy document.
•    Evaluate the MEL, GA drawings issued by sub-supplier
•    Preparing electrical documents such as electrical load list, power cable schedule and SLD.
•    Iput to layout department for the electrical components and equipment room layout
•    Participate in sub-supplier meetings & internal meetings

Your experience and qualifications:

•    Bachelor or Master in Power Engineering
•    FSE course
•    Minimum 8 years’ experience from engineering phase with electrical systems design and follow-up
•    Experience with HV equipment, i.e. GIS, transformer, cable, drive, motor.
•    Experience from greenfield, modification and electrification projects in oil & gas, or relevant is an advantage.
•    Experience with delivery of electrical documents i.e. SLD, load list, Power cable schedule, power system philosophy etc.
•    Extensive knowledge of electrical design according to relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, DNV
•    Efficient communicator, who communicate well in English – Both orally and in writing
•    Cooperative working attitude and acceptance for multicultural team environment
•    A natural team player, but possess the ability to work independently
•    Systematic and accurate, with high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements
•    Proactive, seeking advice and share own experiences with others

To be accepted as a candidate you must be located within EU – preferable in Norway. Important with valid work permit for Norway if not located in Norway.
