Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customers we are now looking for a Senior Drilling Engineer 25815.

Job responsibilities:
–  Overall technical integrity of well design and well execution program, plans and procedure
–  Compliant and cost effective well design programs that meet business goals and life cycle standards
–  Planning and engineering drilling operations in order to achieve technical objectives in safe, efficient and cost effective manner
–  Preparing drilling programs including all information as specified in Company procedure
–  Preparing estimated cost breakdown of wells to be drilled or worked over
–  Operations follow-up
–  Recommending changes in some aspects of drilling program (if necessary) to improve drilling and completion methods, techniques
–  Making recommendations when drilling problem occurs
–  Tracking and benchmarking drilling performance and costs
–  Preparing post well reports
–  Carrying out special studies and reports on any aspects of drilling and completion operations as required
–  Providing digital data useful to follow up well operations and produce well profile print-outs and overpressure study. To critically study these data, detect anomalies and propose corrective actions if needed
–  Assisting in the preparation and evaluation of tenders
–  Assisting rig site operations for specific jobs
–  Ensuring the application of new drilling technologies
–  Ensuring the application of company Policy and NCS regulations & rules.

Your experience and qualifications:
–  Bachelor degree or Cand. Mag (180-240 ECTS) i Engineering.
–  6-9 years of relevant experience.
–  Experience with ERD and MPD operations.

To be accepted as a candidate you must be located within EU – preferable in Norway. Important with valid work permit for Norway if not located in Norway.
