Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customers we are now looking for a Senior Drilling Engineer

Job responsibilities:

•    Design and plan Drilling (Exploration), Workover, Intervention and slot recovery reclamation programs for platform and subsea wells as dictated by the Company business plan; and adhering to the required company and regulatory well engineering, integrity, safety and environmental standards.
•    Support the execution of such well programs through providing engineering advice, and updating as required and coordinating the effort of the contributing suppliers
•    Overall technical integrity of well design and well execution program / plans.
•    Compliant and cost effective well design programs that meet business goals and life cycle standards.
•    Planning and engineering drilling operations in order to achieve technical objectives in safe, efficient and cost effective manner
•    Preparing drilling programs including all information as specified in Company procedure
•    Preparing estimated cost breakdown of wells to be drilled or worked over
•    Operations follow-up
•    Recommending changes in some aspects of drilling program (if necessary) to improve drilling and completion methods, techniques
•    Making recommendations when drilling problem occurs
•    Tracking and benchmarking drilling performance and costs
•    Preparing post well reports
•    Carrying out special studies and reports on any aspects of drilling and completion operations as required
•    Providing digital data useful to follow up well operations and produce well profile print-outs and overpressure study. 
•    To critically study these data, detect anomalies and propose corrective actions if needed
•    Assisting in the preparation and evaluation of tenders
•    Assisting rig site operations for specific jobs
•    Ensuring the application of new drilling technologies
•    Ensuring the application of company Policy and NCS regulations & rules
•    Well Drilling teams, 
•    Asset managers and asset teams.
•    Exploration Dept., Reservoir Dept., Production Dept.,
 

Your experience and qualifications:

•    Bachelor degree or Cand. Mag (180-240 ECTS) i Engineering
•    6-9 years of relevant experience
•    Language: English – fluent spoken and written

To be accepted as a candidate you must be located within EU – preferable in Norway. Important with valid work permit for Norway if not located in Norway.
