Job responsibilities:

•    The position involves managing and coordinating the procurement package team's activities, ensuring that the deliverables for assigned Procurement Packages align with project objectives, procedures, and work instructions.
•    Oversee, coordinate, and conduct necessary follow-ups on the activities and performance of the Procurement Package Team for designated Procurement Packages.
•    Develop and maintain procurement strategies, plans, and budgets.
•    Handle supplier pre-qualification, inquiry preparation, tender evaluation, negotiation, issuance of purchase orders, equipment and documentation delivery follow-up, change and warranty management, invoice control, and project closeout.
•    Maintain close dialogue, involvement, and communication with engineering and integration teams.
•    Gain a general understanding of the contract and a detailed understanding of the technical and commercial scope of work for the assigned Procurement Packages.
•    Report project progress, status, schedule, cost, risk, and opportunities to the Procurement Manager in accordance with project routines.

Your experience and qualifications:

•    Possess an MSc, BSc, Technical College qualification, or other relevant education and experience.
•    Exhibit systematic and analytical skills.
•    Be commercially driven with a strong technical understanding.
•    Have knowledge of contracts and contract management.
•    Demonstrate strong negotiation skills.
•    Uphold high integrity and ethical values.
•    Be dedicated and proactive.
•    Have 7-10 years of experience in a similar role.
•    Be available to work in Norway.
•    Possess strong communication skills in both Norwegian and English, and be a team player.
