We are looking for a skilled and experienced SAS Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to work on EPCI modification and/or maintenance contracts, contributing to the design, integration, and implementation of SAS systems in compliance with industry standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities
•    Serve as the SAS Engineer for EPCI modifications and maintenance projects.
•    Design and integrate SAS systems, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
•    Participate in fire and gas safety reviews.
•    Develop system designs for process, utility, and electrical systems (interfaces, FS, SCD, and HMI input).
•    Follow up on system designs for equipment packages and electrical automation systems.
•    Develop solutions tailored to client requirements.
•    Manage vendor follow-ups, including reviewing technical documentation and participating in test activities/FAT.
•    Ensure the timely identification and communication of vendor and engineering information critical to project progress.
•    Coordinate across disciplines, suppliers, and client teams.
•    Prepare and complete engineering documents and data registers.
•    Create engineering deliverables such as F&G, C&E, SCDs, ESD/PSD block logic, and work packages.

Qualifications & Skills
We are looking for a candidate with the following:

•    Education & Experience: MSc, BSc, Technical College, or relevant qualifications with a minimum of 5 years of engineering experience.

•    Technical Expertise: 
    o    Strong skills in specifying, dimensioning, and integrating process control & monitoring systems, fire & gas detection, protection/shutdown systems, including field devices and safety shutdown systems (ESD and PSD).
    o    Experience in managing procurement processes for discipline or multidiscipline procurement packages.
    o    Ability to support installation and mechanical completion (MC) of SAS-related equipment and modifications.
    o    Proficiency in developing and maintaining system design documentation, including system philosophies, specifications, and alarm specifications.
    o    Familiarity with analysis and calculations per IEC 61508/61511, supplier documentation follow-ups, and verifying software/hardware deliverables.
    o    Ability to interpret and use input documentation from other disciplines (e.g., process, electrical, safety, HVAC).
    o    Experience with NORSOK standard
    o    FSE and EX

•    Standards & Compliance: Knowledge of NORSOK standards (I-002) and IEC/PAS 63131:2017.
•    Language Skills: Proficiency in Norwegian and English (mandatory).
•    Personal Attributes: Strong communication skills, team player, proactive, and hands-on approach.
•    Work Eligibility: Must be eligible to work in Norway.
