Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customers we are now looking for a Safety & Environment Engineer – Working Environment

Job responsibilities:

•    Plan and execute working environment activities within the project.
•    Conduct comprehensive working environment analyses, assessments, and evaluations, covering areas such as ergonomic/layout, human factors, chemicals, noise, vibration, biological agents, illumination, indoor climate, outdoor climate, radiation, and psychosocial/organizational conditions and job hazards.
•    Prepare and update design engineering documentation and reports.
•    Implement relevant requirements for working environment design details during equipment procurement and follow up with suppliers.
•    Plan and execute working environment reviews, including WEHRA (Workplace Environment Health Risk Assessment).

Your experience and qualifications:

•    Relevant higher education at Bachelor’s or master’s degree level in Science or Engineering.
•    Proficient in both Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.
•    Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in working environment engineering within the Norwegian Oil & Gas industry or other relevant sectors.
•    In-depth knowledge of applicable Norwegian regulations, including NORSOK S-002, S-005, S-011, S-012, C-002.
•    Extensive experience with relevant assessments such as WEHRA, CHRA, and similar evaluations.
•    Thorough understanding of relevant working environment requirements.
•    Familiarity with other relevant standards.
•    Ability to work independently, demonstrating self-motivation and a proactive approach.
•    Offshore certification is required.
