Job responsibilities:

• Ensure all offshore activities are performed in a manner that safeguards the health and safety of all personnel, the environment, and the integrity of the asset in compliance with regulatory legislation and company documentation.
• Facilitate safe execution of all activities, recommending and proactively coaching and advising team, contractor offshore platform management and all service companies on matters of safety and training.
• Important link between the offshore and onshore organization.
• Immediately report incidents.
• Ensure compliance to regulatory and company requirements.
• Ensure that all personnel are familiar with reporting procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all standards and procedures to protect the environment. Inspect the worksite for safe practices and good housekeeping and coach as appropriate.
• Increase the safety and risk awareness of all personnel involved in HAP operations through proactive risk identification & elimination, proper dissemination and discussion of documented instruction and information.
• Ensure that inductions are properly carried out and that all necessary drills and exercises are satisfactorily attended and conducted.
• Participate in SJAs, toolbox talks, work permits and daily meetings
• Promote the One-Team philosophy and be an ambassador for the Safety TIR (Take time, Involve and Report) and LSR (Life saving rules)
• Attend and facilitate the weekly safety meeting. Monitor and ensure that all relevant safety meetings are attended by all third party service providers, and that relevant

Your qualifications:

• Bachelor degree or Cand. Mag (180-240 ECTS) i Reservoir & Petroleum Engineering

To be accepted as a candidate you must be located within EU – preferable in Norway with valid work permit
