Job responsibilities:

•    Quality Control Process Development
    o    Initiates, develops and maintains measurement and inspection procedures, guidelines, standards, and methods for product monitoring.
    o    Leads the development, implementation, and optimization of metrology and calibration processes
    o    Develop and implement metrology strategies to optimize measuring efficiency and accuracy.
    o    Performs MSA (Measuring System Analysis)

•    Inspections and Audits
    o    Performs inspections and audits of components and finished products
    o    Conducts audits of production processes and documentation to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement.
    o    Documents results and findings after inspections and audits are carried out.
    o    Lead Mechanical Completion to ensure that everything is carried out in accordance with procedures/requirements.
    o    FAI on products in development phase.
    o    Engineering documentation review
    o    Participates in review and release of new and revised engineering documentation (in example drawings, BoM)
    o    Participate/one of the approvers in the Review and release of revision of drawings/documentation in production after the first edition from Engineering.

•    Training and Guidance
    o    Provides training, guidance and mentoring to the inspection and production team on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.

•    Non-conformance management
    o    Coordinates activities related to nonconformance handling, material rejections and corrective action reports
    o    Participates in investigations of warranty cases.
    o    Investigate root causes of quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions to address them.
    o    Facilitate problem solving activities
    o    

•    Customer Support
    o    Prepares and signs FAT(Factory Acceptance test) report with customer.
    o    Prepares and signs CoC(Certificate of compliance) issued for product delivered to customer on self-produced items.
    o    Compiles and reviews the as built documentation
    o    Support customer inquiries and feedback related to product quality and reliability

•    Collaboration and Coordination:
    o    Coordinates the quality inspection team, ensuring they have the necessary measuring systems for the job.
    o    Collaborates with cross-functional teams including product engineering, project engineering, and production to ensure quality requirements are met throughout the product lifecycle.
    o    Collaborates with SQD to ensure right quality of supplied products.
    o    Identifies and coordinates resolution of measurement-related issues

Your experience and qualifications:

•    Relevant engineering degree or equivalent background
•    Solid knowledge of standards related to metrology and quality management systems.
•    Demonstrated ability to program and operate measurement tools (CMM, Laser Tracker, Vision equipment, calipers, gauges, micrometer, indicators, etc.)
•    Ability to do measuring system analysis
•    Ability to calculate measurement uncertainties, including identifying all contributing factors and the magnitude of impact each have on the measurement process
•    Working knowledge with ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
•    Able to provide clear direction and training to individual and small groups of employees.
•    Experience in product and process audits
•    Excellent communication, collaboration skills, and problems solving skills.
•    Excellent documentation practices, highly detail oriented.
•    Experience working with Microsoft Office, Visio, SAP ERP and various metrology and statistics software.
