Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customers we are now looking for  three QA Engineers/Software testers and want to be part of our client’s vibrant international Software QA & Test team in Stavanger 27623.

Job responsibilities:
•    Create and maintain manual test case suite 
•    Perform manual test case execution 
•    Collaborate with developers and designers to understand requirements and defects found 
•    Manage defects and troubleshoot and investigate root causes 
•    Interact at a cross-functional level to achieve optimal solutions 
•    Explore and keep up to date with new technologies. 
•    Participate in test automation activities

Your experience and qualifications:
•    You held a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree within Computer Science or similar 
•    Minimum 3 years’ experience as Software Tester  / testing Engineer
•    ISTQB Foundation Certification (or relevant) is required (International Software Testing Qualifications Board)
•    Experience in agile methodologies such as Scrum / Kanban 
•    General understanding of branching strategies 
•    General understanding of CI/CD build pipelines 
•    General understanding of test automation 
•    Good communication skills 
•    Understanding and/or knowledge of test automation is an advantage 
•    Programming skills is an advantage 
•    Knowledge of automation tools for Windows applications, MAUI applications and Web applications is an advantage

•    Sertifisering i ISTQB Foundation (eller tilsvarende) er påkrevd. (International Software Testing Qualifications Board)
•    Det er ønskelig at du har erfaring med smidige metoder som Scrum og Kanban.
•    Generell forståelse for branching-strategier.
•    Generell forståelse for CI/CD-byggelinjer.
•    Generell forståelse for testautomatisering.
•    Gode kommunikasjonsevner.
•    Forståelse for, og/eller kunnskap om, testautomatisering er en fordel.
•    Programmeringsferdigheter er en fordel.
•    Kunnskap om automatiseringsverktøy for Windows-applikasjoner, MAUI-applikasjoner og webapplikasjoner er en fordel.

Du bør ha grunnleggende kunnskap om:
•    Testprosesser og prinsipper
•    Testplanlegging og dokumentasjon
•    Testnivåer og -typer
•    Grunnleggende teknikker for testdesign
•    Verktøy og deres rolle i testingen
