Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customers we are now looking for a Project manager Marine   

The purpose of the position is to head project execution and customer deliveries on behalf of the business area Marine Propulsion. 
 
The position is based in the corporate headquarter in Bergen and with main focus on projects with hybrid/electric propulsion technology. Some part may be subject to work outside normal work hour, as well as be prepared for working against important deadlines for the deliveries.

Main Duties:

•    Drive and manage projects from contract signing to handover to costumer 
•    Order and follow up deliveries from chosen sub-suppliers
•    Dialog and clarification with regulatory bodies / Class societies
•    Reporting and coordinating activities/progress with customer 
•    Manage customer invoicing according to project payment schedule
•    Prepare and follow-up VOs for project changes
•    Keep project on track and in time according to contractual agreements, manage deviations by keeping stakeholders informed 
•    Use and update document structure related to relevant projects
•    Support Sales during bidding process
•    Drive monthly project review as contribution to financial workflow
•    Optimize and improve project financial numbers during execution
•    Manage risk and opportunity within project scope

Job responsibilities:

•    Set up and manage kick-off, progress and deviation meetings with customers, sub-suppliers and colleagues.
•    Initiate the detailed engineering deliverables
•    Participate and contribute to the continued development of the project department across the Nordic.
•    Contribute to the collection and sharing of information about best practice as part of knowledge sharing.
•    Manage financial prognosis and cashflow on ongoing projects in accordance with the financial guidelines for project execution.
•    Follow and comply with Project Governance process workflow
•    Complete administrative tasks after completed jobs
•    Technical support to team members, colleagues and operating companies 

Your experience and qualifications:

•    A technical of commercial degree on BSc or MSC level
•    Proven capabilities in project management, preferably Maritime sector
•    Technical understanding
•    Electrical and mechanical drawings/documentation
•    Proficient use of MS Office
•    Extensive knowledge and experience with project planning tool(s).
•    Super Office and Visma experience would be beneficial.
•    Secure HSE focus and results, and adherence to company standards in project execution.
•    Oversee and secure ABC compliance adherence in own organization and for sub suppliers
•    As defined in Approval Authorization Matrix
•    You are structured and self-going have the ability to deal with ambiguity and you are service-minded
