Are you ready to contribute to cutting-edge engineering projects? We are looking for a Power Controls Engineer with expertise in system controls & power in onshore and offshore related projects. 
Join our client’s  Project Execution Team, where you will play a key role in delivering all engineering activities across design, construction, and installation phases. 
Your work will include preparing technical documentation and plans for large-scale onshore and offshore projects.
As a Systems Power and Controls Engineer, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop innovative solutions, drive project execution, and support key systems projects.

Job responsibilities:

•    Act as a technical engineer within power and control systems for large EPCI/system onshore projects, managing work scope, schedules, and milestones.
•    Define procurement specifications for projects offshore and onshore related including; subsea hardware such as control systems, manifolds, valves, connectors, and power equipment.
•    Plan and execute System Integration Testing (SIT), including commissioning and recommissioning.
•    Support Control System Structures design and procurement with the project team.
•    Develop and optimize field concepts for control systems in line with company strategy.
•    Work in projects onshore and offshore; Power controls equipment, including topside hardware, umbilicals, distribution systems, SITS, FATs, and FMECA, Electrical, Control, Power, Instrumentation
•    Some travel may be required

Your experience and qualifications:

•    Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical / Instrument).
•    Essential: Experience with Norwegian projects.
•    5–10 years of relevant experience in the offshore industry.
•    BOSIET certification or willingness to complete required offshore survival courses.
•    High Voltage experience is preferred.
•    Knowledge of onshore and offshore controls equipment, including topside hardware, umbilicals, distribution systems, SITS, FATs, and FMECA.
•    Expertise in Electrical, Control, Power, Instrumentation, and Hydraulic design, with experience in civil construction or construction vessels.
•    Proficiency in ERP systems and strong competency in Microsoft Office.
•    Familiarity with classification and verification societies, environmental regulations, and international standards
•    Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
•    Proven ability to work independently with a structured and systematic approach.
•    Strong communication skills, with the ability to ask critical questions and provide thorough explanations.
•    Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality work in a dynamic, fast-paced project environment.
•    Comfortable working in multidisciplinary and multinational teams.
