Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customers we are now looking for a Procurement & Logistics Specialist-E 28191.

Job responsibilities:
•    Be the expert in calculating and advising on project specific transport for air, sea and land in the tendering stage
•    Advise Bid Manager in choosing most optimal Incoterms to secure project plan and commercial targets
•    Calculate cost of packing as well as requirements for packing, marking and preservation of goods
•    Be the expert in “Dangerous Goods Declarations” including management of associated data sheets
•    Coordinate, plan and execute shipments on behalf of assigned projects based on input from Supply Chain Coordinator and Category Buyer
•    Manage the project’s commitments around export- and import according to relevant law’s, and liaise with internal stakeholders on VAT and customs related matter
•    Compliance with project EHS Plan, Quality Plan and related requirements
•    Cooperate and interact in the tendering stage with the extended bid team and category team to ensure subjects concerning logistics are in accordance with ABB’s expectations
•    Assist the projects with transport-calculations, -quotations, shipments, packing and preservation, customs clearance, licenses and documentation from State Authorities, Chamber of Commerce’s and Freight Forwarders
•    Ensure issues related to logistics fulfilment are managed proactively where applicable and in conjunction with other stakeholders (PM, Lead Eng, Supply Chain Coordinator and Category Buyer)
•    Drive contracts management and claims management towards freight forwarders (if needed) on project shipments to secure deliveries
•    Cooperate to develop profile for freight forwarder capability/capacity by country/continent, to establish Logistics strategies for maximum leverage across projects 
•    Maintain current market knowledge and understanding of changing conditions and advice Logistics Category group of current trends in cost, availability, technology gaps and/or other opportunities beneficial 
•    Drive SCM initiatives on cost reductions, supplier performance and supplier base rationalization.
•    Adhere to demands in the Global Trade Compliance, by ensuring knowledge about export and import regulations are understood for Norway, EU and the US.
