Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customers we are now looking for a Process/Senior Engineer – Compressor system design 26192.

Compressor System Engineer for a new feed gas compressor package inclusion in an existing onshore LNG plant. The project is at the middle of the detail engineering phase.

Our client are looking for a Senior Process Engineer who has experience in detail engineering with follow up of a centrifugal compressor vendor.

Job responsibilities:
–  Follow up the compressor vendor (seal gas, seal gas failure report, utilities, compressor curves, torque, vendor P&IDs, line list, valve list, interfaces etc.)
–  Follow up HAZOP actions from compressor vendor HAZOP
–  Follow up compressor sequences (start-up/shut-down etc.) 
–  Travelling to the compressor vendor site if required
–  General support for the main process group.

Your experience and qualifications:
–  MSc or BSc with required experience
–  Minimum 8 years working experience from engineering (FEED and/or detail engineering) 
–  Working experience with Greenfield or Brownfield projects on NCS or Norwegian onshore O&G facilities
–  Detail knowledge in NCS requirements (NORSOK, Ptil/PSA)
–  Detail knowledge of Equinor requirements is preferred
–  Detail knowledge of compressor systems
–  Experience with follow-up of a centrifugal compressor vendor
–  Ability to work independently and thoroughly as well as ability to work in team
–  Multidiscipline understanding
–  Good communication skills 
–  Have a high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements
–  Be proactive, seeking advice and share own experiences with others
–  Communicate well in English – both oral and in writing.
