Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customers we are now looking for a Principal Geoscientist 25976.

Job responsibilities:
–  Represent Client in partner-operated Licenses
–  Participate in license committees and work groups
–  Ensure optimum reservoir development and management plans to maximize production of economic reserves and resources
–  Provide MC with guidance in technical subsurface matters
–  Fullfill ‘see-to-duty’ requirements related to subsurface work in partner-operated license
–  Participation in identification and maturation of infill targets and geological modelling
–  Geological support to other disciplines such as Reservoir, Production and Drilling Engineering
–  Member of the Integrated Work Team (IWT) in the multidisciplinary subsurface team
–  Provide technical support on all matters related to development/production geoscience such as; 3D and 4D seismic interpretation, identification and maturation of infill targets on a mature fields, validation of 3D models and uncertainty estimates
–  Review target locations and well paths 
–  Review and provide guidance regarding 4D seismic history matching
–  Support drilling plans/operations (e.g. well planning and executions) with geoscience input
–  Provide input to licenses as required by Unit Operating Agreements or Resource Committees.
–  Support reservoir engineers and give input to the reservoir management plan 
–  Actively use the QC process with the peer review team or their representatives
–  Other disciplines within subsurface, such as: Petrophysics, Geology, Geophysics, 4D, Geomodelling, Reservoir Engineering, Production Engineering and Drillingtives

Your experience and qualifications:
–  Master Degree i Geology or Geophysics
–  10-15 years of relevant experience
–  4D
–  Seismic interpretation
–  License work
–  Development and production projects
–  Well planning
–  Language: English Skill Level- Excellent & Norwegian.
