Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customers we are now looking for a Piping / Piping Layout Engineer 26290.

Job responsibilities:
–  Perform general layout evaluations and piping layout activities by using Aveva E3D modelling & Draft tools.
–  Evaluate access, working environment and material handling in physical layout and design.

Your experience and qualifications:
Required Education:
–  Bachelor or Master degree.

Required Work Experience:
–  Preferably experienced within Oil & Gas, Offshore Wind layouts and Hydrogen projects
–  10-15 years + experience layout design, E3D/PDMS modelling
–  Experience with concept development work
–  Experience and understanding in Greenfield and Brownfield design
–  Knowledge of rules and regulations for layout design

Required Qualifications: 
–  Have multidiscipline understanding and act proactive, seeking advice/share experience in design processes.
–  Cooperative working attitude and participate in design reviews.
–  Layout and design based on NorSok knowledge and have loyalty to project deadlines and quality requirements. Some offshore-, fabrication- and commissioning- and site support experience preferred.
–  Intercultural competence and acceptance for multicultural working teams, have to be acknowledged.
–  Good communication skills in English required, spoken and in writing. Norwegian language skills will be appreciated but is not required for the position. However, willingness to learn Norwegian is still a recruitment.
