Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customers we are now looking for a Piping and Layout, Area Engineering, Project Drilling and Procurement 26935.

Raia is a Brazilian FPSO Greenfield project in the detailed engineering and execution phase. The engineering and construction activities will be split over several locations around the world. This role will be follow-up construction activities at Qidong yard in China.

Job responsibilities:
•    Be visible and engaged within HSE and act as a Safety Ambassador. 
•    Compliance and influence site safety objectives and requirements
•    Ensure that all construction activities related to Piping disciplines are planned, performed, and documented in accordance with the project requirement.
•    Position will report to Construction Manager. 
•    Monitor progress and quality of Piping fabrication and installation activities for hull and LQ on all sites where such work is performed. 
•    Coordinate and follow-up of Piping inspections to ensure quality of work and ensure required finish. 
•    Multi-discipline coordinating among to ensure fabrication, installation of outfitting is according to planned sequence. 
•    Participate in discussions and clarifications with the yard and vendor/subcontractor. 
•    Assist in connection with Quality audits at the yard and at vendors/subcontractors. 
•    Participate actively in site inspections during construction and completion. 
•    Participate in MC inspection and verify relevant ITRs 
•    Extensive travelling to different outfitting fabricating locations is expected. 
•    Flexibility in taken on other assigned tasks is expected.

Your experience and qualifications:
•    The candidate should have experience working with 3D model. 
•    The candidate should have bachelor’s degree or similar. 
•    The candidate should have solid experience in engineering, follow-up activities and construction for Offshore Hull and LQ. 
•    Minimum 10 years’ experience from offshore construction (Similar type of project) 
•    Teamwork spirit and solution orientated work attitude. 
•    Longer relevant experience may compensate for less formal education. 
•    It is crucial that the candidate have a proactive mindset and focus on supporting Contractor success.
•    Language Requirements: English
•    Candidate mastering the Mandarin is preferred.
