Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customers we are now looking for a PIPELINE ENGINEER

Job responsibilities:

• Work as lead engineer within pipelines (S-lay, reeling and/or onshore) of a CO2, hydrogen or hydrocarbon project in early phase (feasibility or concept phase), FEED and/or execution phase.
• Driving processes and follow-up of engineering, procurement (tendering, contract follow-up), construction/fabrication and installation. Interface with support functions and other disciplines within the project.
• Location is Oslo or Stavanger, Norway. All work has to be carried out from Norway. Default is office presence in Stavanger (Forus) or Oslo/Fornebu five days per week. In certain cases, home office in Norway up to two days per week may be agreed, however is subject to approval from both project and resource line. This request is for replacement for staff on long term sick leave. The work place may be either Stavanger or Oslo, depending on where the candidate is located.

Your qualifications:

• EPCI (engineering, construction, procurement, installation) project experience from and including early phase (post DG0) to and including execution phase (pre DG4) within subsea flowlines (S-lay and/or reeling) and/or onshore flowlines.
• Experience within landfall, tie-in, seabed intervention (rock installation, trenching) and contracts preferred.
• Experience from both contractor and client sides preferred.
• The candidate needs to be able to drive processes and progress, be able to see what needs to be done and ensure that action is taken, and work and communicate and work well with task managers, colleagues and contractors.
• Master or Bachelor within mechanical, marine or civil engineering.

To be accepted as a candidate you must be located within EU – preferable in Norway with valid work permit
