Are you a highly credible, technically strong engineer who thrives in complex project environments? We’re looking for an experienced Owner’s Engineer to represent our clients across the full project lifecycle—from mid-stage development through to commissioning.
This role sits almost in-house with the client, providing deep technical guidance and commercial support during critical project stages. If you’ve got the engineering depth and stakeholder skills to lead major renewable energy developments, we want to hear from you.

Job responsibilities:

•    Support feasibility studies and early-stage electrical and civil design.
•    Identify technical value opportunities to maximize project success.
•    Lead procurement processes: manage tenders, evaluate offers, and advise clients.
•    Negotiate technical aspects of EPC and other project contracts.
•    Oversee construction on behalf of the client—be their trusted eyes on the ground.
•    Coordinate handover post-commissioning, ensuring smooth transition back to the client.

Your experience and qualifications:

•    Strong background in engineering (civil or electrical) within renewable energy or infrastructure.
•    Proven track record as an Owner’s Engineer or similar client-facing technical advisor.
•    Ability to manage projects from pre-financial close (white collar) through to post-close (blue collar construction environments).
•    Fluency in English and the relevant local language (German or Afrikaans preferred).
•    Deep understanding of project development, procurement, and construction contract negotiation.
•    Fluent in English and local language (e.g. German or Africans as applicable)

Preferred:

•    Local candidates in South Africa or Germany.
•    International candidates with strong regional experience and language fluency will be considered.
