Job responsibilities:

•    Prepare and issue technical requisitions and datasheets
•    Input to plan, prepare schedule input for package deliverable for supplier
•    Documentation follow up, review / implement comments and approve 
•    Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers, reviewing designs, calculations, and specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.

Your experience and qualifications:

•    MSc or BSc in mechanical engineering or similar. Relevant experience may compensate for lack of education
•    Minimum 8 years relevant experience
•    Experience with O&G projects on the Norwegian continental shelf
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
•    Mechanical Engineering professional with expertise in equipment designing, specification and requisitioning of equipment and packages. 
•    Rotating Equipment experience is required
•    Familiar with NORSOK, ISO and Norwegian standards, ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes and standards for supplier’s scope of work
•    Package specification and requisitioning experience
•    Technical liaison with suppliers, customers, and other technical disciplines
•    Evaluate and respond to technical queries
•    Review and approval of supplier documentation
•    Ensure timely delivery of equipment and documentation
•    Interface with clients to understand project requirements, provide technical advice, and present project progress and outcomes
•    Good communications skills in both Norwegian and English
