Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customers we are now looking for a MCT and Penetration Engineer

Job responsibilities:

• Establishing and follow-up of relevant engineering activities towards other disciplines
• Establishing and follow-up of relevant engineering activities towards other disciplines (multi-discipline areas) and interface parties within the Project Team, the User Group/Operations Representatives, and towards Contractor(s).
• Follow-up of the multi-discipline Penetration & Fire Integrity scope of work. An update of existing penetrations fire seals, & installation of new to the governing requirements is to be ensured, as well as delivery of all appropriate LCI documentation/certification. Ensuring documentation suitability for future maintenance/inspection requirements is required
• Follow-up of Contractor(s) to ensure deliveries in line with scope of work, cost and schedule. Attend established discipline & package meetings
• Provide Contractor(s) with input, clarifications and maintain contact as necessary
• Contribute to internal project & product evaluations, and documentation e.g. Design basis, functional specifications, technology assessments and qualification programs
• Select and/or develop specifications and provide input to procurement activities for ongoing and future project phases within own discipline, for example, documentation and process, equipment packages, long lead items, company provided items (CPI)
• CRE role – execute follow-up of packages
• Ensure necessary dialogue with interfacing parties and disciplines. Contribute to resolving interface issues
• During execution, support and take responsibility for decisions within own discipline, e.g. interdisciplinary input, handling of queries (TQ/SQ/CQ), project change proposals and variation order requests (VOR)
• Contribute to evaluation and expedient handling of relevant change proposals and requests for deviation from requirements, for example, Non-Conformance, Deviation requests
• Follow up delivery & review of life cycle information (LCI) within discipline

Your qualifications:

• Master Degree i Engineering or Other
• 6-9 years of relevant experience

To be accepted as a candidate you must be located within EU – preferable in Norway with valid work permit
