Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customers we are now looking for a Material Management Advisor

Job responsibilities:

• Maintain Operating Asset Integrity within the area material management:
• Handle tasks related to BoM and stock level adjustments following modifications/ projects
• Ensure cost efficient material management in company
• Custodian of the Material Master and MRP/RLM module in SAP
• Optimization of stock
• Bill of Material administration
• Maintain material data in the CMMS
• Ensure the stock holding strategy and maintenance strategy are aligned
• Ensure that actual stock levels are in line with the stock holding strategy
• Manage and ensure an optimized inventory of spare parts (min/max, reorder points, safety stock to minimize HSE issues, OPEX and production downtime)
• Ensure sufficient quality of material master data to enable requisitioning and purchase of correct material as well as correct handling and storage
• Coordinate material management stake holders in order to ensure the implementation and continuous update of min/max level and safety stock in particular for safety and production critical activities
• Ensure sufficient level of detailed information in BOM in SAP for all assets in company to facilitate efficient planning and purchasing, complete with stock analysis
• Specialist in Material related workflows/processes
• Establish close cooperation with the onshore/offshore maintenance personnel to enable short and long term activities with regard to material availability

Your qualifications:

• Bachelor degree or Cand. Mag (180-240 ECTS)
• 10-15 years of relevant experience

To be accepted as a candidate you must be located within EU – preferable in Norway with valid work permit
