Job responsibilities:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Piping Lead to take charge of a critical modification project involving approximately 50-60 pipes. The role entails overseeing the ongoing project while the current lead is on leave. Your responsibilities will include:
•    Acting as the point of leadership and expertise for all matters related to piping in the ongoing modification project.
•    Providing guidance and supervision to a team of 3-4 skilled engineers, ensuring project objectives are met efficiently and effectively.
•    Managing the project with a focus on basic engineering principles.
•    Formulating a comprehensive technical specification for the assembly package of pipes, subsequently initiating and overseeing the bid solicitation and evaluation process.
•    Facilitating an 80% design review, critically assessing the project's progress and ensuring alignment with predefined milestones.
•    Skillfully estimating the precision of detail design and assembly phases within a range of ±10% to ensure project accuracy.
•    Offering valuable insights and input to the study report, contributing to a comprehensive understanding of the project's achievements and implications.

Your qualifications:
•    A degree in engineering coupled with substantial hands-on experience, ideally gained from onshore process industries.
•    Proficiency in English is essential to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
•    Preferably fluent in Norwegian to facilitate clear and concise communication with local teams and partners.

To be accepted as a candidate you must be located within EU – preferable in Norway. Important with valid work permit for Norway if not located in Norway.
