Job responsibilities:

Work focus and purpose of the role includes:

• Follow up and support FPSO Contractor within the instrument & control area in the execution phase
• Elevate issues with recommendations to Engineering Manager
• Monitor progress of system packages (key milestones, procurement, reviews, deviations, etc)
• Focus on technical and regulatory compliance and communicate with Company Technical Authority regarding non-conformances
• Adhere to relevant management systems and requirements
• Maintain overview of status within assigned system or discipline and inform line management of significant changes
• Actively identify risk within assigned system or discipline and propose actions to reduce risk to appropriate levels
• Initiate and drive changes to improve safety, reliability and efficiency
• Contribute to continuous improvement of best practices
• The I&C Engineer is accountable for follow up the I&C discipline FPSO contractor work scope;
• SAS
• Metering
• Marine Control systems
• Utility control systems
• Field Instrumentation
• Timely review of FPSO engineering Contractor drawings, documents, Technical Queries and Deviation requests
• Attend engineering reviews
• Attend vendor FATs and technical meetings
• Communication with Company Technical Authority

Your qualifications:

• Master Degree i Engineering
• 10+ years experience

To be accepted as a candidate you must be located within EU – preferable in Norway with valid work permit
