Job responsibilities:

•    Managing and following up on instrument procurement packages.
•    Estimating, planning, and executing engineering activities.
•    Coordinating with suppliers, reviewing technical documents, and ensuring compliance with specifications.
•    Providing engineering input to job packages and performing as-built documentation updates based on offshore feedback.
•    Reporting key updates and concerns to the Discipline Lead and Engineering Manager.
•    Ensuring quality and HSSE standards are upheld in all project phases.
•    Identifying changes and providing input for change requests.
•    Conducting offshore surveys and supporting field instrument engineering tasks, including: 
    o    System engineering, automation, and control system design.
    o    Fire & Gas systems engineering and layout design.
    o    Cable dimensioning, field instrumentation, and valves.
    o    Technical procurement activities, material take-offs (MTOs), and requisitions.
    o    Preparing installation job cards and providing multidisciplinary coordination.

Your experience and qualifications:

•    Education and experience: MSc, BSc, Technical College, or equivalent qualifications.
•    Industry background: At least 5 years' experience in the offshore oil and gas sector.
•    Certifications: EX Basic, FSE, Offshore Certificate, and valid Medical Certificate.
•    Strong knowledge of offshore EIT installations, including relevant requirements and standards.
•    Proven ability to coordinate and follow up with suppliers, including as-built documentation.
•    Broad expertise in I/T equipment and field instrumentation.
•    A proactive, collaborative, and solution-oriented team player with excellent communication skills in Norwegian (preferred) and English.
