Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customers we are now looking for an Instrument Engineer 26094.

Job responsibilities:
–  Job carding of Instrument installation packages.
–  Co-ordination with suppliers and review of documents and drawings.
–  Engineering inputs to job Packages.
–  As-builts of supplier drawings and red line mark-ups received from offshore.
–  Report to Discipline Lead and Engineering Manager all matters of importance.
–  Responsible for Quality and HSSE in own projects.
–  Conduct offshore surveys, covering various engineering aspects such as field instruments, system and automation engineering, Fire & Gas systems, layout design, cable dimensioning, procurement activities, installation job-cards, and coordination with suppliers and clients.

 
Your experience and qualifications:
–  Education from either Associate Degree Vocational school or bachelor's/master's degree.
–  Fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.
–  Minimum 2 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
–  Good knowledge of offshore EIT installations and requirements.
–  Experience in supplier coordination and follow-up.
–  Proficient in as-builts of tags and drawings.
–  Ability to perform estimation work and plan activities.
–  Offshore experience.
–  Strong communication skills and a team player.
–  Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
