Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customers we are now looking for an Instrument Engineer 26004.

Job responsibilities:
–  Job carding of Instrument installation packages.
–  Provide engineering inputs to job packages.
–  As-builts of supplier drawings and red line mark-ups received from offshore.
–  Report all matters of importance to Discipline Lead and Engineering Manager.
–  Ensure responsibility for Quality and HSSE in own projects.
–  Identify changes and provide input to change requests.
–  Conduct offshore surveys, including instrument and control engineering, Fire & Gas systems, layout design, cable calculations, field instrumentation, and valves.
–  Manage technical procurement, prepare MTOs and requisitions, create installation job-cards, provide cross-discipline input, and coordinate with suppliers and clients.

Your experience and qualifications:
–  Minimum 2 years of offshore experience in the oil and gas industry.
–  Fluent in English, both verbally and in written language.
–  Good knowledge of offshore EIT installations and requirements.
–  Experience in supplier coordination, follow-up, and as-builts of tags and drawings.
– Proficient in Microsoft Office.
–  Able to perform estimation work and plan activities.
–  Possess relevant education for example Associate Degree, Vocational school, 
–  Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree.
–  Good communication skills and a team player.
