Job responsibilities:

•    Project lead engineer within the topside engineering team within the area of Instrument for all FPSO systems (field instruments)
•    Stewardship of ROS Instrument inspection and refurbishment scope.
•    Provide technical support to operations.
•    Fulfill Discipline Responsible, System Responsible and other roles assigned in order to provide technical support to Jotun Operations and Maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operations.
•    Follow the execution of the FPSO engineering contractor work with focus on the following.
•    Field instruments .
•    Monitoring the Contractor execution of the Instrument systems engineering work with focus on required quality, overall consistency and that the delivery is within the VE defined scope. 
•    Technical solutions are developed and aligned with relevant requirements.
•    Seek simplifications in processes and technical solutions.
•    Monitor the Contractor’s engineering activities and performance, with emphasis on HSE, technical quality and aim to drive progress.
•    Proactive take corrective actions as required, without undermining Contractor’s responsibility.
•    Communicate and clarify Company requirements to Contractor.
•    Handling of Technical Queries, Non-Conformance requests and interfaces. Prepare company correspondence and input to risk register.
•    Be an active contributor in the FPSO team incl. focus on overall goals for the project.
•    Work scope and tasks may change with project demands and special assignments may be required.
•    Primary contact point for management within work area.
•    Actively work with Company and Contractor organization to resolve problems and seek decision making.
•    Seek a One team approach.
•    Give support to other project departments when requested.
•    General co-ordination and follow up of Instrument work.
•    Participate and lead technical verifications and reviews within the Automation disciplines and participate in other if required.
•    Interface towards Operations and Company Technical Authorities.
•    Ensure and advise equipment standardization.
•    Review and endorse scope changes.
•    Review project deliveries in accordance to regulations, performance standards, governing doc. and Company requirements. 
•    Seek to resolve issues and challenges related to procurement packages and contractual issues.
•    High level review of methods and documents.

Your qualifications:
•    Master Degree i Engineering
•    10 + of relevant experience

To be accepted as a candidate you must be located within EU – preferable in Norway. Important with valid work permit for Norway if not located in Norway.
