Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customers we are now looking for an Instrument Discipline Lead 26003.

Job responsibilities:
–  Discipline lead overseeing instrumentation, SAS, and telecom, collaborating with electrical engineers.
–  Take charge of the automation discipline in Concept studies for renewable projects in onshore petrochemical and offshore oil & gas.
–  Develop automation philosophy to the required study level.
–  Conduct layout evaluations for instruments.
–  Formulate installation and integration philosophy for instruments.
–  Evaluate suitable instruments/equipment for the concept.
–  Estimate scope and material, providing input to MTO and Master Equipment List.
–  Participate in design and safety reviews.
–  Contribute valuable input to study reports.

Your experience and qualifications:
–  Senior engineer with a strong multidisciplinary and SEIT overview.
–  Experience and knowledge of relevant design rules, regulations, and standards for the automation discipline.
–  Knowledge of NORSOK and relevant standards/regulations for the NCS.
–  Fluent in English, both verbally and in written language.
–  Proficient in Microsoft Office.
–  Demonstrated ability to execute, take responsibility, and make decisions.
–  Proactive with excellent communication skills and the capacity to mentor younger engineers.
