Job responsibilities:

•    Specification of equipment.
•    Concept evaluation
•    Preparation of documents for inquiries and purchases.
•    Package responsibility; follow-up of suppliers for various equipment such as Control systems, metering packages, instruments and valves.
•    Preparation of documentation: SCDs (System Control diagram), C&Es (Cause & Effect diagram), instrument and cable lists, data sheet, termination diagram, etc.
•    Databases (tag, I/O, cable etc) – SmartPlant Instrumentation
•    Other tasks will be to follow up and manage work carried out by our office in India (related to e.g. cable routing in E3D, electrical analysis (ETAP short circuit calculations) etc.

Your experience and qualifications:

•    B.Sc. or M.Sc. in electronics/automation/cybernetics.
•    Minimum 10-20 years of relevant experience from engineering (preferably from hydrogen plants, but carbon capture, LNG and/or oil and gas or other process industry is also relevant)
•    Deep technical knowledge about control and safety of onshore plants, including fire and gas detection.
•    It is required that the candidate has good collaboration and leadership skills, and excellent communication skills in English, written and spoken. Norwegian is added advantage.
