Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customers we are now looking for a HSEQ Manager 28071.

 

 

The HSEQ Manager (Health Safety Environment & Quality) has the overall responsibility for the HSEQ related activities in the company. He or she will be leading HSEQ activities and developing the operations onwards with the following responsibilities.

 

Job responsibilities:
•    Leading HSEQ activities (Health, Safety, Security, Environment & Quality)
•    Developing & providing services in monitoring and sharing information in new regulations, policies & standards related to environment, energy management and safety
•    Developing HSEQ activities
•    Local owner of company risk management tools (Assure, RMS, Maximo, COS)
•    Responsible for Maintaining and Reporting
•    Be the local authority and responsibility for carrying out and facilitating internal and external audits.
•    Provide input to the plant AOP, yearly audit schedule, ADP and other plant deliverables.
•    Proactively promoting HSEQ activities and safety-first culture and maintain safety metrics
•    Support in HSEQ operations/inspections, policy and guidelines issue
•    Provides motivation and familiarization for RLP personnel respecting the importance of complying with procedures and all safety equipment provided
•    Carries out analysis of accident / incident statistics, identifying trends and suggesting improvement plans. Drive continuous improvements and lessons learned into practice.
•    Owner of RLP safety, quality, emergency preparedness and audit procedures
•    Provide other ad-hoc support as required and to other PX departments.
•    Actively participate in Company safety awareness culture
•    Support with RLP ESG reporting
•    Responsible for the SHE budget, delivering SHEQ activities according to set plan and within budget.
•    As part of the site management team and incident control plan, be part of the “Duty Manager / Call Out” rota.
•    Deputise as Plant Manager, and if necessary, deputise for other management roles.
•    Be an active part of the plant operations and support functions.

 

Your qualifications:
•    Bachelors degree in SHEQ, Engineering discipline or other relevant higher education
•    Strong experience in quality, risk management and process improvement.
•    Experience in leading quality and business improvement programs.
•    Good knowledge of MS Office applications and ERP accounting packages
•    Excellent communication skills oral and written
•    Fluent in English and Norwegian; verbal and written
•    Completed the required company induction into this role
•    Operational experience from high hazard industry like oil and gas, chemical industry or Serveso / MAH-sites.
•    Knowledge of Norwegian safety legislation, Internal control regulations and Norwegian legislative reporting requirement
•    Knowledge of typical Norwegian industry safety efforts and procedures as permit to work systems, safe job analysis process, working at height, and more
•    Will have to be able to hold the required training certificate to be a part of the Emergency preparedness team at site.
•    Complete the required training to obtain certification needed for the role as for example Port facility Security officer, Industrial safety course and Industrial safety on scene commander course. Other training requirements may apply.

 

Zero Harm, Competence & Behaviours – Level 1
•    Demonstrate an awareness of and compliance with px Group Zero Harm health, safety and risk management standards, policies & practices.
•    Review and agree to the Zero Harm Charter.
•    Consistently demonstrate compliance with all Level 1 behaviours in line with the px Behavioural Competency Framework.
•    Complete and maintain required training and competence assessments to be able to identify and perform safety critical tasks and activities in accordance with the site major accident hazard scenarios, as outlined in the competence management standard.
