Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customers we are now looking for a Heat Trace Designer 24316.

Responsibilities:
–  Perform heat trace calculation and design
–  Produce heat trace documents
–  Create new isometric drawing or perform red-line mark-up on existing drawings
–  Respond site queries and support construction team
–  Create and update heat trace engineering register Interface with other disciplines e.g. piping, insulation, process and instrument
–  Possible travel to site for survey and support

Skills:
–  Multidiscipline understanding (process, piping, insulation, etc.)
–  Knowledge of Trace Calculations, E3D and Autocad/Microstation
–  Minimum 3-5 years of experience with electrical heat trace design, preferably within O&G projects on the Norwegian continental shelf
–  Education: Bachelor degree or Technical College related to Electrical engineering
–  SoftWare skills: MicroStation, E3D, AutoCad, Trace calculation
–  Language skills: English, Norwegian

To be accepted as a candidate you must be located within EU – preferable in Norway with valid work permit.
