We are looking for creative and skilled people to develop ideas and concepts for offshore exploration and production. Effective and thorough seismic data interpretation and analysis as input to our integrated workflows is becoming an increasingly important part of our work stream to recover more resources.  

Job responsibilities:
•    Coordination and execution of geophysical work activities in projects across exploration, development, and production 
•    Support planning and execution of geophysical acquisition and processing 
•    Seismic AVO, quantitative seismic reservoir characterization and monitoring 
•    Seismic interpretation, prospect definition and evaluation, volume- and risk assessment 
•    Provide and maintain inputs to asset reservoir models. 
•    Ensure that all work, tasks, and projects are carried out to achieve the overall objectives. These include HSSE, technical integrity, compliance, and cost. 

Your experience and qualifications:
•    MSc/PhD within relevant subjects of geophysics 
•    Minimum 7 years of relevant recent experience in exploration and/or reservoir development 
•    In depth knowledge of relevant interpretation and seismic analysis software and workflows 
•    Modern data science applications  

Personal Skills  
•    Ability to work independently as well as in teams. 
•    Understands how data can be made available, interpreted, visualized, and used as a basis for recommendations and decisions. 
•    Can organize, collaborate, and motivate others to reach shared goals. 
•    Excellent communication skills 
•    Fluent in English. Good knowledge of the Norwegian language is an advantage.
