We are now recruiting for a financial reporting analyst to join our team and work closely to the business lines in Marketing, Midstream and Processing (MMP) Business Area and carry out essential accounting tasks. The business area is responsible for global marketing and trading for crude oil, petroleum products, natural gas, and electricity, including the marketing of the Norwegian state's natural gas and crude on the Norwegian continental shelf. In addition to managing global energy portfolio, MMP is responsible for the onshore plants and for transportation infrastructure, creating value chains that ensure reliable delivery of Equinor's upstream production. Furthermore, MMP is also responsible for developing low carbon solutions covering CO2 capture, transport and storage, low carbon hydrogen and clean power projects.

Job responsibilities:

•    Ensure accuracy and completeness of sales and purchases, provisions, storage calculation and financial instruments. 
•    Perform various internal controls and contribute to accounting practice. 
•    Perform analysis of profit and loss and Balance Sheet. 
•    Perform internal and external reporting on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. 
•    Perform accounting assessments of commodity contracts. 
•    Improve processes across the value chain and within the accounting function including digitalization/automation.

Your experience and qualifications:

•    A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance or another relevant field. 
•    Previous experience within MMP, IT, or Accounting would be an advantage. 
•    Able to work in English at a professional level, both written and spoken. 
•    Good communication and analytical skills.
