Field Engineer – EIT 27408

Job Description:
As a Field Engineer – EIT, you will play a critical role in supporting project execution at the construction site. Your responsibilities include:
• Assisting the project team in resolving technical challenges that arise during construction or installation work.
• Supporting production teams by interpreting drawings and job documentation.
• Collaborating with shop engineering to prepare work basis and technical solution documentation.
• Ensuring construction and installations are compliant with safety (HSSE) and construction-friendly standards.
• Maintaining close communication with work leaders (FIL), method teams, shop engineering, PRE, and other stakeholders.
• Striving for excellent HSSE performance throughout all phases of work.
• Interfacing with IT/IS systems related to engineering registers, Navis, and MIPS.
• Coordinating closely with production teams.
• Managing interfaces across disciplines (EIT, piping, structure, civil, HVAC, etc.), suppliers, subcontractors, and planning departments.

Qualifications:
• MSc, BSc, Technical College, or equivalent relevant education and experience.
• Familiarity with “as-built” drawings and mechanical interface drawings.
• Experience in fieldwork and NORSOK standards.

Software Skills:
• Proficiency in MS Office 365 (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Planner, Power BI, Teams, SharePoint).
• Knowledge of MIPS and E3D.
• Strong general computing skills.
Language Requirements:
• Fluency in Norwegian (preferred) and English, with excellent communication skills.
